THE DESIGNER
As a teenager Josephine Falodun designed and finished unique clothing for her herself and friends. From this early experience working with clothing and textiles, she developed a passion for fashion.
At the age of 21 she successfully set up and operated MADAMEOLFA DESIGNS, a dressmaking studio and shop in the city of Lagos state, establishing a large clientele amongst the elite society in Nigeria and other neighbouring African countries.
In order to broaden her knowledge and technical abilities in the World of fashion, Josephine decided to move back to London, her birth place. She became a pioneer student at the London Centre for Fashion studies and technology run by Martin Shoben. Designer and inventor of the pattern master, also author of many Pattern making and Fashion Design books.
Having studied and worked with some of the most skilled professionals in London, her design ethos is the result of the excellent training she received.
